PROPERTY NEWS: Sunsuria-Affin Bank partnership, homeownership Financing Aid Offered

Sunsuria Bhd announced a partnership with Affin Bank's Property Step Fast/-i to provide homebuyers with a lifestyle ownership program that allows them to pay a cheaper monthly installment for the first five years of their home.

Under the terms of the agreement, which runs until September 2022, Affin Bank will provide Sunsuria with RM200 million in end financing.

According to Jessie Wong, managing director of Affin Bank Mortgage Business, the ad delivers three main value propositions. The first is that there will be no lock-in period for participating homebuyers, followed by no early settlement charge. Finally, homebuyers will have the option of financing a solar system for their property. Both completed and under-construction residential properties are eligible for the financing program.

Tangerine Suites and Monet Residences in Sunsuria City, Bangsar Hill Park in Jalan Maarof, and Sunsuria Forum SOHO and Residential Suites in Setia Alam are among the Sunsuria developments selected for the Home Step Fast/-i program.

"While the group expects a slow recovery in domestic economic development, it remains cautiously optimistic for the future." Sunsuria chief operating officer Datuk Simon Kwan said, "The collaboration with Affin Bank's Home Step Fast/-i program offers lifestyle home ownership to home purchasers who are fresh to the workforce and those who desire to improve their property."
