PROPERTY NEWS: RM11 million in sales during two-day Hari Raya open house organized by Sime Darby Property

Key takeaway:

During the Hari Raya open house weekend on May 21 and 22, Sime Darby Property Bhd generated a total of RM11 million in sales bookings.

The developer completed sales bookings from the two-day Hari Raya open house event held across six townships, including Serenia City in Sepang, Bandar Bukit Raja and City of Elmina in Selangor, KLGCC Resort in Kuala Lumpur, Bandar Ainsdale in Negeri Sembilan, and Bandar Universiti Pagoh in Johor, according to a media statement released on Tuesday (May 31).

"It was wonderful to see so many people enjoying the hot Raya atmosphere after missing out on the hustle and bustle of the special celebration for two years," Sime Darby Property said.

Nearly 4,000 people attended the developer's event in Serenia City, where they were treated to a full day of exciting activities, including hot air balloon rides that provided a bird's-eye view of the beautiful township, mini carnival games, a batik painting workshop, and a live band and traditional dance performances.

Families enjoyed an evening picnic under Serenia City's 120-year-old trees, which date back to the city's tea plantation days while taking in the gorgeous view of the lake and feasting on a delectable buffet. The atmosphere and joyous vibe were reflected in themed performances.
