Key takeaway: Putrajaya Holdings Sdn Bhd (PjH) launched Residensi Sakura in Precinct 11, Putrajaya on February 4 and 5 as the year's kickstart.
The freehold project offers 463 medium-range apartment units across two blocks with prices starting at RM350,000; at its recent soft launch on Jan 28 and 29, with 50% of these units had already been booked. The developer is now running a 0% down payment campaign.
Residensi Sakura is being developed on a 5.4-acre (2.19-hectare) site and has a gross development value of RM240 million. The project provides six different floor plan types with built-ups ranging from 828 square feet to 2,120 square feet, the last of which is a dual-key apartment. In the second quarter of 2024, the development is expected to be completed.
PjH Chief Executive Officer Datuk Hashimah Hashim stated in a news release that the group views its job as Putrajaya's master developer as more than just being a developer. Beyond that, they consider it our responsibility to create a dynamic city with a flourishing socio-economic environment.
"A truly sustainable and forward-thinking city is what we are aiming to build here. That has been our goal ever since we started, so we're thrilled that Residensi Sakura has launched since it represents yet another significant step in that direction," she continued.
According to the press release, Residensi Sakura will have lifestyle amenities and be surrounded by nature because it is situated inside the Putrajaya Masterplan's landscape plan.
The development is "a fantastic investment prospect as well as the ideal home for the young and dynamic contemporary family," she continued.
Amenities including schools, parks, neighbourhood community centres, and recreation centres with a swimming pool and sports facilities are located close to the development.
Residensi Sakura's connection and accessibility to major roads, as well as its closeness to important transportation hubs like the ERL and MRT Line 2, were listed as additional benefits in the statement.
