Key takeaway:
M Privilege members of M Vertica in KL City and Sensory Residence in Southville City, are to receive refunds and discounts on furnishings, fittings, and interior design packages worth over RM14.5 million.
Mah Sing's collaboration with SofaX, a platform for visualising interior design, to improve the MY Mah Sing app for the company, led to the reimbursement. Through the partnership, homeowners can use SofaX's virtual reality (VR) technology to explore home design.
Mah Sing group CEO Datuk Ho Hon Sang stated in a news release on Wednesday (Aug. 3), "We at Mah Sing are continually searching for innovative ways to use technology to enable Malaysians to develop their ideal houses. For our homeowners, the MY Mah Sing app has always been there at every moment.
The SofaX platform is now improving the app even further by turning 2D house designs into a VR environment where users can fully immerse themselves and experiment with mixing and matching furniture, fixtures, wall and tile colours.
M Privilege members of M Vertica and Sensory Residence will earn 3,000 SofaX points via the MY Mah Sing app, along with an extra 500 points for use on the SofaX app during the vacant possession period. The points, which have a ringgit equivalent value, would allow users to enjoy a discount of RM3,500 on all purchases made at participating home and living suppliers listed on the SofaX app.
In addition, members will have unique access to the Personal Shopper Program at SofaX. The service provides homeowners with a 120-minute consultation with a SofaX personal shopper to give personalized guidance and suggestions for maximising space and money.
The collaboration supports Mah Sing's Home Ownership Made Easy (H.O.M.E) campaign, which was started last month to make homeownership more accessible to first-time home purchasers.
