PROPERTY NEWS: Mah Sing Meridin East Erica West Phase 1 in Johor, Open for Registration

Key takeaway: Following the success of Erica phase 3, which has been completely sold, property developer Mah Sing Group Bhd (Mah Sing) has opened the following section of Meridin East for registration.

The first phase of Erica West, which consists of 179 units, is targeted toward first-time homebuyers, young professionals, newlyweds, and expanding families.

“We are delighted to announce that all 108 units of Erica @ Meridin East Phase 3 have been fully sold last weekend. This demonstrates the high demand for reasonably priced landed properties in strategic locations with practical layouts. Hence, registration for the next phase of this township - Erica West Phase 1 is now open. We are confident that this project will set another great milestone for our Meridin East township," Mah Sing property subsidiaries chief executive officer Benjamin Ong Chin Yee said.

Mah Sing intends to open the new Meridin East Interchange, which will give direct access from the Senai-Desaru Expressway (SDE) into the township, in order to improve the connectivity of Meridin East.

With 1,313 acres, Meridin East is the largest mixed-development township in Mah Sing. It currently has a developed component occupancy rate of about 70%.

One of the projects that will take part in Mah Sing's Home campaign, which offers homebuyers benefits like no down payment, no stamp duty, and lower monthly payments, is Erica West. It will continue until September 30, 2022.
