PROPERTY NEWS: M Nova: To be launched in 4Q22 by Mah Sing

On Friday, Mah Sing Group Bhd opened the sales gallery for M Nova at Taman Wahyu, Kepong (July 15). The mixed-use project's grand opening will take place in the fourth quarter of 2022 (4Q22).


1,248 serviced residences with built-up sizes of 700 square feet (two bedrooms), 850 square feet (three bedrooms), and 1,000 square feet (four bedrooms) will be developed in M Nova's first two towers. The indicative selling price starts at RM318,000.

Yeoh Chee Beng, chief executive officer of Mah Sing's property subsidiaries, revealed that the final tower, which is part of Phase 2 of the project and would be launched later, is still undergoing finalisation of its specifications.

"The second phase is a standalone skyscraper that will be linked to the Level 8 facilities level by a sky bridge. Approximately 826 units should be in Tower C," at a news conference, Yeoh remarked.

M Nova will also have 11 retail lots, one of which will have a drive-through section. The built-ups have an indicative selling price of RM1,000 per square foot with a built-up size starting at 2,000 square feet.

"The pandemic has altered urban culture, where people now favour drive-through retailers. After opening on sale, we anticipate that the remarkable unit and other items would be well welcomed," Yeoh added.

34 amenities, including a swimming pool, badminton court, co-working area, e-hailing pickup/drop-off point, jogging trail, and bicycle parking, are available at M Nova. Additionally, the development includes eco-friendly elements including automated waste collection systems, delivery parcel lockers, and EV charging stations.

The 235-acre Kepong Metropolitan Park, which is two kilometres from M Nova, has several amenities nearby, including schools, wet markets, supermarkets, and KTM and MRT stations. With direct access from MRR2, being only 1.8 kilometres from Jalan Kuching, and being in close proximity to both Duke Highway and Jalan Kepong, everything has been made convenient.

"High-rise and landed residential homes in KL are both included in Mah Sing's reasonably priced M Series developments, which have good take-up rates. We are confident that this is what the market wants, and as a developer focused on serving people, we will keep providing the market with similar residential properties." At the sales gallery opening ceremony on Friday, Tan Sri Leong Hoy Kum, the founder and group managing director of Mah Sing, made a statement.

Mah Sing, in the meantime, intends to take vacant possession of more than 4,000 finished units this year, creating a substantial financial reserve to fund Mah Sing's land banking initiatives.
