PROPERTY NEWS: J&T Express acquires 30-acre land in Bandar Rimbayu to build logistics centre

The corporation has committed RM600 million to the site purchase as well as the development of the warehouse facility, transforming it into a one-stop shop for express distribution, logistics, and warehousing.

"This year marks the fifth year since J&T Express began operations in Malaysia," said Roy Zeng, CEO of J&T Express Malaysia. We have decided to invest RM 600 million to purchase a parcel of land and construct a logistics centre in Malaysia, as part of our diverse expansion and strong momentum as a result of the regional market's continued growth. We think that by doing so, we will be able to boost the local economy, create jobs, and play a key role in the growth of the local logistics industry as well as the community's long-term development."

J&T Express' specialised express network today encompasses 12 countries, reaching over two billion people, including Malaysia, China, Indonesia, Vietnam, Thailand, the Philippines, Cambodia, Singapore, Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Mexico, and Brazil.
