Due to involuntary unemployment, homeowners are permitted to return their properties to the developer within the coverage period, which runs from the date of the sale and purchase agreement (SPA) and for up to a year following the date of the certificate of completion and compliance (CCC).

IJM Corporation Bhd Chief Financial Officer Datuk Edward Chong stated in a news release on Thursday (July 21) that this agreement will increase Malaysians' access to homeownership.
